Alex Field is a twenty-seven-year-old writer and editor from Southern California, where he lives with his wife, Nicole, and sons, Ari and Elijah. He is currently an associate editor for Gospel Light Publications in Ventura, California.
Prior to working with Gospel Light, Field was the executive director of Epic Ministries, the nonprofit, sister organization to the world-renowned Skate Street Skatepark, where he edited a regional skateboarding and punk rock magazine, ran a music venue, and promoted school assemblies, outreach events, and concerts. As an MPAA accredited freelance writer, Field has written and reported for the Los Angeles Times, the Associated Press, RES magazine, The Ventura Independent, The VC Reporter, and he is a regular contributor to both RELEVANT magazine and Outreach magazine, among other outlets.
