Full dark brown morocco, leather doublure elaborately gilt tooled, with minor wear to the edges and corners. Pastedown has a stamped rectangle that has been recoloured. Lettering in gilt on the spine. Gauffred. Red endpapers. Pages ruled in red. The front board of the first volume has a small hole near the edge which does not go right through. small amount of foxing on free end papers. Label on bottom of free end paper of each volume "Bound by Alexander Banks (Junior), 5 North Bridge, Edinburgh". ***The two volumes weigh over 10 kg and will require additional postage if sent out of Australia.***.
