Burgundy cloth, ruled in blind, lettered in gilt on spine panels. Complete in two volumes. Mild shelf wear, lightly rubbed at corners and spine extremities, light surface rubbing. viii,560 + vii,544 pp., illus. w/ reproductions of engravings by Taylor, Barclay, Weiser, and others. Text block edges lightly foxed. A few instances of underlining/marginalia scattered through the latter section of Vol. I, only a few examples noted. Firm binding, otherwise clean interior. Solid VG+, ranging to Near Fine. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
