As much as the LORD's Prayer is connected to the New Testament, we get hints of it in the Old Testament.

"Look down from heaven and see; even from Your holy and glorious habitation. You O LORD are our Father; our Redeemer from everlasting is Thy name." (Isaiah 63: 15-16) Near-Death Experiences are fascinating, especially, because those who report seeing Jesus, say, the love, the light and the joy exuding from Him is beyond anything they'd experienced on earth. When you listen to people recount their NDE's, one of the things that stands out is their adamant desire to stay in the glorious heavenly realm, where there are colors, "living colors", that exceed the visible spectrum (that the naked eye can see).
