T. Garrott Benjamin, Jr. is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, and was raised in Cleveland, Ohio, by a single parent grandmother. Since 1969, he has been the Senior Pastor of the historic Light of the World Christian Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dr. Benjamin is both an innovator and a motivator. For five years, his ministry was seen and felt throughout the world through national cable television (TBN, BET and LeSea) and the Armed Forces Television Network. He continues to be a highly sought after preacher and lecturer.

Dr. Benjamin is a graduate of St. Louis University, in St. Louis, Missiouri, and the Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he earned the Master of Divinity and the Doctor of Ministry degrees. He also holds several honorary doctorates. He is married to his beautiful helpmate, Beverly, and has three fine sons.
