1898. Second Edition. 218 pages. No dust jacket. Padded tartan cloth covered boards with gilt. Contains black and white photographic plates. Joseph Brown (illus). Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing. Moderate foxing to prelims and up until title page. Plates are bright and clear. Large but neat inscription to the front free end paper. Heavy cracking at the hinges with exposed binding material. Some occasional moderate to hear cracking to gutters throughout, with some tearing to page, binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have heavy edge wear with bumping to corners, and rub wear all over. Moderate crushing to spine ends, with splitting, fraying and loss to the head, tail and joints. Front hinge is almost entirely split. Split to cloth at front board gilt. Seller Inventory # 1736875669LEE
