He heads up the Environmental Horticulture Program at Lake Washington Technical College, in Kirkland, Washington, where he has been a Horticulture Instructor for 20 years. He is also the sole proprietor of Plant Designs, a landscaping company that designs, installs, and maintains commercial and residential landscapes.
