Top edges of book nicked in two places with light soil. Binding firm and tight. Son Michel inscribed a warm note, dated 21 October 2000, on half title. Lightly read, no other marks. Jacket is not clipped ($20.00), has small tears at top edge, near spine. Light narrow damp-stain on bottom front panel, not noticeable from outside of jacket. book cover not affected.
