He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Professional Counselor, Clinical Addictions Specialist, and Mental Health Counselor. Dr. Howard is also a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist and Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor. He is a nationally recognized author and speaker, presenting regularly on subjects such as relationships, infidelity, addictions, and intimacy. Dr. Howard has taught at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and has earned several graduate degrees in a variety of subjects related to counseling. Dr. Howard specializes in working with couples dealing with relationship problems, including infidelity and sexual addiction. Dr. Howard is a Navy Veteran with 28 years of active duty service - as both a Chaplain and as a submarine nuclear electrician.
