Engraving from "The Illustrated London News" showing the race for the Plenipo cup (an engraving of the Cup and the associated commentary is included) with the run in, and the winning-post opposite the Stand. The original commentary mentions the winner "The Corsair" and runner-up "Queen of Clubs" and the race for the Canton Cup, the Highlander Cup and the Civil Service Club, and notes of the engraving that it also shows "on its verge, the Catholic, Protestant, and Parsee burial grounds."
