About the Author

Daniel Akbari is a graduate of the Tehran University School of Law. He is certified by the Iranian Bar Association as a Number One Attorney, qualified to handle cases involving the death penalty, and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Iran. He is a criminologist and expert in homeland security. Paul Tetreault is a graduate of George Mason University School of Law and a member of the Virginia Bar. He has clerked for judges in federal district court and the U.S. Court of Appeals and studied Islam since the 1990s.
