About this title

You have no one to blame for you own personal unhappiness but yourself. Should you stay, communicate, forgive and repair, or simply move on? If you choose to move on, and it's been a while since you were single, or if you're just looking and have no clue how to proceed, this book can help you. For the young, it will help broaden their view of the relationship picture. For the older, married and since divorced, it will help bring them up to date with what's going on out there in the dating scene. Hook, Line & Single is a comprehensive guide to today's rules of engagement for the singles searching for the right ones to share their lives.

About the Author:

Duke Jordan will be the first to describe himself as a guy trying to do his part to make this world a better place. He has two older sisters and a younger brother, his parents, Dubois and Naomi Jordan, raised their family in the small, tight-knit town of Rand, West Virginia. Throughout childhood, Duke played various musical instruments and sang with the family's gospel groups. A graduate of DuPont High School, Jordan joined the Marine Corps. After boot camp at Paris Island, he was stationed at Camp Pendleton, California, near Oceanside. Jordan returned to his hometown of Rand, West Virginia, and worked as a licensed Realtor until being hired by Charleston's City Police Department where his is currently employed. Jordan has worked earnestly to break down the mental barriers between the police department and the community. During his 17 year tenure, he has worked primarily in the Community Policing Division, but has also served in Charleston's Bicycle Patrol and Traffic Division. Jordan still enjoys thinking back on Charleston's Taylor Books. Jordan credits the atmosphere at Taylor Books as a stimulant towards his three U.S. patents. Jordan also credits this powerful statement for inspiring him. He who is without vision imprisons himself... going through life unchanging. He who is without already dead. Jordan hopes one day to be a household name, one who motivates others to do something about their present situations, whether it be financial or pertaining to relationships. He also hopes to one day raise enough profits to help build a family roller skating center. He dreams of the day he'll buy a 38-foot Sea Ray Sport Yacht and names her Dreamer. Jordan presently resides in Hurricane, West Virginia.
