Hope: The Other Side of Grief...

Loss and the resulting grief is a common reality for everyone. Learning how to recover from loss can be one of the most difficult issues a person will ever face. Grief floods us with emotions and questions that demand to be answered. But, few of us are ever taught how to heal and truly live again. This book was written for the very purpose of helping people to heal. It is designed to be a tool used in the healing process. By reading, mediating, and journaling on the subjects contained within it, the reader can move along the path one day at a time, to a new, healthy future. While there are several books and programs that relate to grief, this workbook is unique. The author doesn’t use a clinical approach. Rather, this practical healing guide was born out of an open and honest account of his personal story, the pain which followed his loss, and the steps of his journey to healing. Through his own recovery following the death of his young son, the author realized that many others can benefit from his experience and the steps of healing he learned. This practical workbook guides the reader along by discussing the thoughts and feelings experienced immediately following a loss, and how to work toward a new, healed reality which emerges as the reader applies the tools and begins to look at things from a fresh perspective.
