Horae Sabbaticae: Reprint of Articles Contributed to the Saturday Review; Volume 2

Horae Sabbaticae, Volume 2, is a collection of essays by James Fitzjames Stephen, reprinted from his contributions to the influential Saturday Review. These essays offer a fascinating glimpse into the intellectual landscape of Victorian England, covering a wide range of topics from law and politics to literature and society. Stephen's sharp wit and incisive analysis make these essays as relevant today as they were in the late 19th century. Readers interested in the history of ideas, literary criticism, or the social commentary of the Victorian era will find much to appreciate in this volume.
