Horror Better Left Unseen

This started as a game. Two brothers, multiple states away from each other, who spent most of their mornings chatting on the drive into work or texting funny memes throughout the work day. One day in summer of 2022, one brother texts the other:

"Ok. I have a new game. I send you the start of a story and you send the end. It cannot be longer than a text. Here is your first one...."

This text was the snowball at the top of a hill. You are about to read the avalanche it has become. This book is a debut work of twenty twisted short stories brought to you by the creative minds of Silver Back and Black Belt. A game of dueling pens has crafted unexpected levels of gore, terror, and the fantastic at each turn. Creatures of lore, evil demons, alternate dimensions, perilous situations, and the occasional hero infest this set of compiled stories. These new authors hope that you enjoy reading this book as much as they enjoyed putting it together.

Silver Back happily lives with his amazing wife, four awesome children, and two happy pugs in Houston, Texas. He enjoys reading horror, writing horror, listening to hard rock, catching the occasional unlucky fish, and taking part in a good CrossFit workout. Stuck in the grind with a day job to pay the bills, he spends evenings assembling these stories and sending new material to his brother. He is very excited to put more of these glimpses of terror in your hands.

Black Belt has a very loving family that includes four children, two high energy dogs, and a hot wife in western Pennsyltucky. He actually has a no-shit black belt in Tae Kwon Do, throws and shoots sharp things at targets (knives, axes, arrows, and other fun stuff), lifts heavy weights to break a sweat, and enjoys volleying stories with his brother. His day job of being a Mentat Assassin is just an excuse to keep the lights on, but he would like to write his way into retirement.
