The Horror Within II: The Sequel

It’s 1923—four years since the last in a series of grisly killings in Floodwood Station, Ohio. The peace experienced by the residents of the small coal mining town is about to come to a brutal end.

In Dayton, Ohio, following the mutilation of several local victims, Nathaniel Holt, an ambitious Dayton Daily News reporter, begins his own investigation.

For Nate, it's a welcome distraction. He finds new acquaintance, Julianne Babcock, every bit as stubborn and argumentative as she is attractive and bright. Despite the friction between them, he thinks about her more than he cares to admit.

With newspaper photographer Gordon Driscoll in tow, Nate investigates accounts of largely unpublicized animal attacks going back years across Ohio. The information leads them to Floodwood Station—the site of the first horrific attack.

The town may hold the answer to the monstrous killer’s identity, but the residents have a secret they're guarding with a vengeance.

Nate seeks help from a reluctant source, Floodwood Station’s favorite former schoolteacher—Julianne Babcock, who has returned to her hometown to care for her estranged father.

In the midst of the community's resistance to Nate’s investigation, the nightmarish killings begin again.
