2nd Edition hardcover in beige cloth covered boards with surface soil and wrinkles on the back. Lightly brushed spine ends, tips starting to rub. 94pp glossy text is tight and profusely illustrated in bright colors with some handling soil throughout. PON written and 2 stamps on fr endpps, some wrinkles throughout but no bent corners or other writing/highlighting inside. Not pretty but all there. No. 10 in 'The Dumpy Books for Children' book series. This is a super hard to find compilation of equine poetry themed around the psychology of the horse, written for children and easy to read but still discusses the factual behaviors of horses. Excerpt from within, "Jibbing: Of all the tiresome steeds that are, The Jibber is the worst by Far. He stands and contemplates the scene- An act embarrassing and mean.
