1948 hardcover in rust cloth covered boards with bright gilt spine title. Spine ends lightly bumped, tips very sharp. 81pp text plus index with crisp, tight text and foxed endpapers. Text well illustrated with 32 b/w photos and line drawings. Original, un-clipped dust jacket repaired on inside at tips and spine ends. A comprehensive analysis of the structure of the horse and how it affects performance. Author was in the English cavalry for 24 years.
