Add to basketRoland van den Berghe, The Horse of State, 1975. Eight-page printed brochure reviewing this history of the work and its exhibitions, with a six-page insert relating to a conference with artist statements and pictures of the 1971 exhibition together with two photocopies of the Amsterdam installation. The work shifts its focus away from the image of the rider to the sculptural elements of the 'indespensable attributes of horse-riding; the stirrups, the bit and the reins''. Five silver gelatine prints, two annotated in green ink identifying them as being the Zurich installation and event of the work. Essentially this is an artist s portfolio regarding this sculptural work and installation piece. No copies on Worldcat.
