Horseback Long Riding Explained

Horseback Long Riding Explained is written to provide the knowledge and inspiration for those wishing to take a horseback journey of any distance to “ride their ride” to the best of their ability. It is the single most comprehensive book on long riding written thus far, and it contains the knowledge its authors would have loved to have known before beginning their journeys.

Many people dream of riding off into the sunset on horseback, and the authors of his book have all done just that. And in doing so, they all faced very similar problems, the biggest of these is the terrible advice they received from the so-called experts and often the books they have written. Most of those that claim to know about the challenges you face on the road are repeating second hand information at best. Everything contained here is straight from the horse’s mouth.

This book is written by REAL long riders, all of whom risked very public failure both online, and amongst their peers and many share openly and honestly where they went wrong. A long ride on horseback is not some idyllic and magical fairy-tale adventure. It is hard, it is fraught with failures, challenges, and the constant need to adapt and overcome. This book is not full of Instagram snaps and chicken food for the soul, it is full of the cold hard facts you need to equip yourself with for real horseback travel regardless of the distance you wish to cover in the saddle.

Over 50 professional riders having contributed to the creation of this publication, and around a dozen people share their own personal experiences on the road all over the world. The data is unambiguous, it is up to date, and it is all firsthand. The authors of this book have all failed to varying degrees, and these failures are shared here in the hope we may prevent others from suffering the same issues we have while living the dream of nomadic horseback travel.

Further to this, many of the authors are willing to answer questions in person for those that wish too long ride in the future, and the book is priced to reach as many people as possible, rather than make profit.
