Daria Lavrova is an artist and illustrator from St. Petersburg, Russia, who began drawing in early childhood and studied classical art for 10 years. Although she initially pursued a law degree and worked as a legal adviser, she continued studying art. Eventually, she joined the St. Petersburg Union of Artists. Influenced by cubism and constructivism, her style focuses on objects' internal structure and dynamic composition. She later left her legal career to pursue a career in animation. Then, she transitioned to illustrating children's books, completing over 30 titles that have been published internationally. Her art now encompasses various media, including pencils and pastels, particularly for outdoor sketches. In 2015, she moved with her family to Tallinn and later to Amsterdam.
