About the Author
Paul B Farrell is a behavioral economist and journalist reporting on the psychology, politics and economics of climate change and global warming, and their impact on American culture and our collective moral compass. For seventeen years his columns were published in The Wall Street Journal and online at DowJones-MarketWatch.com, which he joined as an editor when originally launched as a dot.com joint venture of CBS-News and The Financial Times. He published 1,643 columns between 1997 and 2015, was MarketWatch's #1 traffic-generating columnist. Dr. Farrell has also published nine books, including The Millionaire Meditation: Stress Management for Wall Street, Corporate America & Entrepreneurs; The Millionaire Code; The Winning Portfolio; Expert Investing on The Net; Mutual Funds on The Net; and The Lazy Person's Guide to Investing. Before the Internet he published "FNX: Future News Index," a newsletter for stock market traders. Earlier he was with Morgan Stanley on Wall Street as an investment banker; an Executive Vice President with the Financial News Network; Associate Editor of the Los Angeles Herald Examiner; and Executive Director of the Crisis Management Group. He has a Doctorate in Psychology, Juris Doctor, Masters in Regional Planning and Bachelor of Architecture. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Staff Sergeant in aviation computer technology.
