#MeToo

Inspired by a true story that went viral
They lost the same hours. They asked the same questions. They weren't the first.
It started with one woman, one camera, and four words spoken directly to the lens: "Something happened to me."
Millions watched. Most scrolled on. But some recognised the story as their own.
Ava built a career out of being seen. Mandy built hers saving lives in the ER. Two best friends with nothing in common, until a stopover in Lima leaves them both with the same blank hours, the same fractured memories, and the same devastating knowledge they can't yet name. One rooftop. One man no one can identify. One corridor that doesn't appear on any floor plan. When they begin to ask questions, the answers don't come. But the patterns do. Other women. Other cities. The same missing hours, the same silence, the same system quietly closing ranks.
How do you prove something that was designed to leave no trace?

ABOUT THE AUTHOR.

ROXY RICH

I am an author with a disability who lives in Somerset with my two children and my husband. My unusual experience, which includes having worked in the sex industry over 17 years ago, serves as a source of inspiration for my writing. I feel it is my duty to bring light on the tales of working girls, the social injustices they suffer. This experience has provided me with unique insights into the life of working girls. I am currently working on my second novel, as I intend to write a whole series that will be devoted to investigating the lives of women who work in the sex industry. Each new installment will focus on a different aspect of their life, thereby delivering a holistic and compassionate perspective of the world in which they live. By combining my years of lived experience with a more mature view on the complexities of the human condition, I believe that now is the ideal time in my life to offer these stories to a broader audience.
