Bulky 4to. Original wrappers. Near very good condition externally, moisture stain along left edge of front wrapper, spine chipped at top. Large and heavy book, Priority Mail only on foreign orders with extra charges thereto due to size and weight. Such hotels were urban residences for the high nobility. The Hotel de Soubise was a mansion constructed in Paris at the beginning of the 1700s on a site formerly occupied by the Hotel de Clisson and Hotel de Guise; it now houses the Musée des Archives Nationales.
