An Hour With Abraham: Conversations In Consciousness

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound-or was the tree ever there at all?

This book unfolds as a dialogue between two minds: Gene, the realist, and Abraham, the idealist. Across sixteen conversations, they wrestle with one of philosophy's oldest questions: is reality made of matter or of mind? Are trees and cappuccinos truly physical objects composed of atoms or are they manifestations of consciousness itself?

As Gene and Abraham probe these mysteries, they explore the history of idealism, the strange implications of quantum mechanics, the enigma of antimatter and electrons, and the possibility of God's existence-an idea this author believes is more than mere possibility.

Is there a bridge between realism and idealism? You'll have to read to find out.
