this is one of the several careful reprints published by george braziller in the 1960's. this examle is reproduced from the illumiated manuscript belonging to the guennol collection and the pierpont morgan library. the twenty odd page introduction is agood intro to the world of illuminated manuscripts. this copy has been reduced severely to reflect the presence of two nearly invisible small faults to the spine. in every other respect fine.
