About the Authors: President and founder of dti Publishing Jamie Rio's first foray into the music industry goes back almost three decades to when he recorded and toured throughout Brazil with his band, BackStreets. He later worked as a recording engineer in a variety of studios in the Los Angeles area, while continuing to record music and tour with various bands. As Jamie's expertise in sound reinforcement developed, he found himself focusing more on technical reference journalism and starting his live sound company, RioDeluxe Audio.
