For twenty-five years, author Dan Guillory reviewed poetry for the Library Journal. He has received many grants and awards for his own three books of poetry: The Alligator Inventions, The Lincoln Poems, and most recently, HousePoems: Structures and Their Inhabitants. His work has appeared in various publications, including Rolling Stone and Illinois Voices. He is also Professor Emeritus at Millikin University and one of his students included the talented young author, also published by Mayhaven Publishing, Inc., A.D. Carson.
