A range of manufacturers leaflets, extolling the virtues of their wares. This period was marked by a focus on freeing up time from the drudgery of housework for women in particular and the emphasis is on their convenience. The Kenwood Chef leaflet features recipes and suggestions for what the busy housewife could do with her new 'servant', and which would 'make her reputation' (the recipe for ham savoury if served today would indeed make someone's reputation.!).
