About the Author
Ormond McGill is a name with which to conjure to those who know mystery. He is known as the Dean of American Hypnotists, and as a magician and hypnotist of international reputation has toured in many parts of the World with his exciting stage shows: East Indian Miracles, Mental-Magic, and the Concert of Hypnotism. Ormond McGill is a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and the Society of American Magicians. In addition, he is also a naturalist of prominence, his contributions to entomology and conchology being well-known. Among his previously published books are: The Secret World of Witchcraft, Religious Mysteries of the Orient (co-authored with Ron Ormond), The Encyclopedia of Genuine Stage Hypnotism, The Art of Stage Hypnotism, How To Produce Miracles, and Entertaining With Magic. Tom Silver is a clinical hypnotherapist with a private practice in Southern California. He is a master of Group Hypnosis with over twenty years of experience. He has toured the World conducting seminars, lectures, and demonstrations on hypnosis. He was one of the first hypnotherapists in the world to create the method of Mass-Hypnosis through an interpreter in a foreign language. In February 1995, Tom Silver hypnotized over thirty-eight hundred people at the same time in Taiwan, R.O.C., setting the first Inter-lingual Hypnosis World Record. He hypnotized the entire audience in Mandarin Chinese through an interpreter. While in Taiwan, Tom Silver lectured about the positive therapeutic values of hypnosis on National Taiwan Television and to the Taiwan Police Academy, members of the Taiwan Olympic Committee, students, professors, doctors and businessmen. He also hypnotized famous celebrities weekly on the #1 most watched television show in Taiwan called Super Sunday. Tom Silver has also lectured and performed for companies, universities, and corporations throughout the world, including Microsoft Corporation, Hughes Aircraft, Hitachi Corporation, the 3M Corporation, Costco Corporation, Atlantic Richfield, UCLA and Loyola Marymount University, just to name a few.
