Text does have underlining or marginalia, illustrations - many of which are in color - are clean and bright. Both covers split about two thirds of the way down. Spine (i.e. backstrip) is completely separated on one side, the other side partially separated. Wear along spine, spine extremes frayed. Moderate cover-wear, most pronounced on front, a few small stains on rear. Inscription in front. Laid in is a relevant newspaper clipping from the New York times, and this has caused discoloration on front endpaper and ffep. Small green specks on prelims and final few (blank) pages.
