This large hard cover book was published by Harper & Brothers of New York and London, dated 1921 and with the code: "E-A" on the copyright page. I have included a photo of the Table of Contents for your information. The book is very well illustrated with plenty of action-oriented scenes from paintings by Howard Pyle of Pirates and their lives, some in color and some in black-and-white.
Condition: This book is in very good condition. The hard covers have been bumped at the corners and spine tips and the upper spine has been professionally repaired although the gilt titles there are virtually invisible. Inside, the book is unmarked and the pages and plates, both color and b&w are clean and bright and without toning or foxing. I did see one page with a tiny tear in the upper corner. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
