A Good copy. This is a compendium of math "shortcuts" and rules that help in expediting math calculations. Some of the rules are aimed toward farmers and tradesmen. The math guidelines shown and explained herein address subjects such addition of fractions, compound interest, division of fractions, squaring numbers, marking goods, multiplication, subtraction of fractions, square and cube roots, stocks and bonds, finding the greatest common factor or divisor, finding the least common multiple, measuring grain, measuring land without instruments, laying off a square corner, measuring grindstones, finding the difference of time between any two dates, finding the day of the week with the date being given, and a table of weights and measures.
