Item description from seller

Clamshell box, 6 x 12 1/4 x 1 1/4, containing four CDs and one saddle-stitched booklet, 36 pp. Cover based on a photograph by Harry Redl. Anthology set produced by Bill Belmont, and compiled and annotated by Ann Charters, contains audio recordings of readings by 14 poets. Booklet includes a "Producer's Note" by Belmont and an essay by Charters, along with excerpted and quoted text from participants including Allen Ginsberg, Michael McClure, and David Meltzer. Poets featured include: Disc 1: Lenny Bruce; Disc 2: Allen Ginsberg; Disc 3: Kenneth Rexroth, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Gregory Corso, and Peter Orlovsky; Disc 4: John Wieners, Philip Lamantia, Lew Welch, Ginsberg, Michael McClure, David Meltzer, and Kirby Doyle. Though not stated as such, this copy is from the library of the poet Jerome Rothenberg. Overall very good plus. Box is very good, with shelf wear, especially at the corners, and with the front cover paper peeling slightly where it is pasted down on the back panel of the box at the upper right-hand corner. Booklet is near fine. Four CDs are near fine, housed in near fine jewel cases, with the paper cover of Disc 1 mildly folded, likely previously caught in the jewel case as it closed.…
