Hardback. Full leather binding to this early nineteenth century edition of the satirical poem of the English Civil War. Illustrated title page with engraved vignette and further engravings to the start of each of the nine parts and to The Lady's Answer to the Knight. 135 by 80mm (5¼ by 3¼ inches). Lettered in gilt to the spine. Leather is scuffed to surface with some slightly peeling to edges. Very rubbed to all edges. Slight split to the joints at the head of the spine. Binding is sound. Text is clean. Good+, sound copy.
