Charles and Henry Baldwyn, London, 1819. Hardcover, 3 volumes in leather. Gold-stamped titles and decorations, raised bands on spines. Marbled text blocks on all sides, marbled endpapers. Printed on heavy wove paper. The English civil war parody / send-up / mock poem which was first published in three parts between 1663 and 1678. Condition: rear board of volume 2 is detached. Rubbing of board edges, also near the spines, but no other cracks or looseness of boards detected. Some rubbing and loss to corners of spines. Occasional spotting of interiors, more near the beginning and end pages of each book. There are no tissue guards with the engraved pages, with resultant ghosts on facing pages. See all photos.
