About the Author: Rita Phillips Mitchell was born in Belize but has lived in the UK since the 1960s. She is a retired primary head-teacher, who has also taught EFL. She lives in Essex. Caroline Binch is the internationally acclaimed illustrator of Amazing Grace, with Mary Hoffman, as well as Down by the River with Grace Hallworth. She wrote and illustrated the picture book Gregory Cool. She lives in Cornwall.
