Good, at the low end, and it has been studied hard - which for a study guide is what they are for. Checked in hand: pen and ink underlining runs through roughly fifteen percent of the pages and pencil underlining through roughly another ten percent, so around a quarter of the book carries a previous student's marks. Some show-through from that marking is visible on the reverse of the pages. This is also an ex-library copy: a library barcode and call-number label is affixed to the back cover, and there is a small blue dot at the upper left of the front cover along with a larger blue circular sticker at the upper right. The yellow and black striped cover is intact but shows moderate wear and some creasing, and the paper is yellowed with age. The binding is intact, the spine is sound, and no pages are cut, torn or missing. Fully readable and complete throughout.
