The Human Compass: A Journey of Courage (Paperback or Softback)

What do you do when your next step leads into darkness?

Discover a magical journey that teaches children the true meaning of courage — not the absence of fear, but the choice to keep going anyway.

In The Human Compass: The Shadow Bridge, Ari and his wise companion Shaka Bird follow the golden compass to the edge of a dark chasm at twilight, where a bridge of light only appears when you take the first step. But halfway across, shadow voices rise from below — whispering that Ari isn't brave enough, that he'll fall, that he should turn back.

That's when Ari remembers everything the compass has taught him — and takes one more step.
