The review methodology provides a basis for performing reviews that address the twelve elements of an HFE program: HFE Program Management, Operating Experience Review; Functional Requirements Analysis and Function Allocation, Task Analysis, Staffing, Human Reliability Analysis, Human-System Interface Design, Procedure Development, Training Program Development, Human Factors Verification and Validation, Design Implementation, and Human Performance Monitoring. Each review element is divided into four sections: Background, Objective, Applicant Submittals, and Review Criteria. References to sources of additional information are also provided for each element.
