The book reflects his concern over the protection of human dignity, values and human rights. The work deals with a variety of issues including poverty, gender justice and child rights. R. Kaarthikeyan, a farmer by birth from a village near, Coimbatore in Southern India is a Graduate in Science and Law. Practiced Law for three years and later joined the elite Indian Policy Service. In that capacity held several position including District Superintendent of Police of largest problematic districts, Director of Police Training Academy, Chief of Intelligence and Security, Karnataka State Director of Trade Promotion in Australia with headquarters in Sydney; Diplomat and Head of Chancery in India Embassy in Moscow (the USSR), Chief of Investigation of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi assassination
