Humility (Pure Gold Classics)

"The deepest humility is the secret of the truest happiness, of a joy that nothing can destroy. Andrew Murray

People of great ability, confidence, and power are also people of great accomplishment. They have every right to be proud. Or do they? Andrew Murray poses the question, and God provides the answer.

Murray was a strong, capable man who was so "in control" that he tried to stop a revival in his church in South Africa for which his father had prayed for 60 years. But he soon discovered that power isn't rooted in pride. In truth, he learned that "pride goes before destruction."

God taught Murray the ways and rewards of humility, and it's relationship to faith, holiness, happiness, peace, and exaltation. He shares the lessons he learned the hard way. Cleverly organized, easy to read, easy to understand, and deeply profound, this classic has been acclaimed as the greatest book ever written on the subject of humility.
