Gary Bogue was the curator of the Lindsay Wildlife Museum in Walnut Creek, California, for twelve years and has been writing a daily column about pets and wildlife for the Contra Costa Times for thirty-nine years. Illustrator and visual journalist Chuck Todd is the presentation editor at the Contra Costa Times. An award-winning newspaper illustrator, he has also illustrated a number of books, including There s an Opossum in My Backyard and The Raccoon Next Door. His artwork has been exhibited at the Lindsay Wildlife Museum in addition to other venues across the west coast.
