The actor Cyril Cusack needs little introduction. After a distinguished career in the theatre, he received the International Critics Award in 1961 for his presentation of Arms and the Man and Krapp s Last Tape. He has since collected a formidable array of international honours.
Cyril Cusack, poet and playwright, is less well known. He has had two plays produced in Dublin. Tareis an Aifreann. and The Temptation of Mr O. His poetry is included in two American anthologies and Timepieces (Poetry Ireland) 1970. He recently received a second doc-torate, from Dublin University, and is at present working on his autobiography.
Rowel Friers MBE. born in Belfast just after the Flood, has published six books of cartoons and illus¬trated numerous others.
He maintains that he is currently working on an autobiography in the form of an enormous strip cartoon.
