The boards remain clean and sound, with light rubbing to the spine ends and the corners, the latter being a trifle bevelled. The boards are secure, and the pages tight. xiv, 306pp (to which is appended an 1865 'Dictionary of the Hawaiian Language' by Lorrin Andrews.) (Note: the provenance of the copy is a little uncertain. The copyright page provides a single date: 1965. An endnote, however, records that the author was Director of Huna Research Associates until 1971, indicating that the edition is in fact a later reprint. In any event, it comprises a complete and perfectly sound copy, with a clean text throughout.).
