Original publisher's brown paper wrappers. Black lettering on front cover and spine. 4 3/4" x 7 1/4." 216 pages, complete. Eight additional pages in back advertise other titles in the Choice Selections Series. The ads give at least a partial list of the contents for Choice Selections, Nos. 31-40. Pages are virtually pristine and intact except for light age toning, slight wear to extremities, and a black "Banner Play Bureau, Inc" ink stamp in bottom margin of title page. Covers are clean and intact overall but have chipping at corners and faint pencil inscriptions on front. A Very Good copy. No. 37 of the Choice Selections series. It is a compendium of 100 literary works including plays, poetry, short fiction, and prose that are intended for recitations and readings.
