Hunted Elements: The Dúbailte Chronicles Book 2

Chaos reigns in a world where elemental Fae grapple with the return of an oppressive regime. Following a vicious attack, Keegan and Calder are thrust into a perilous game of survival as they navigate the treacherous waters of political intrigue and familial betrayal. As they face the escalating threats, their fledgling passion ignites, drawing them ever closer.

While the Council convenes to address the imminent danger of the Chaos Faction, alliances are tested and secrets revealed. With darkness encroaching and the Fomori lurking, the Fae must rally together to defy expectations and forge a new path forward. A series of trials to reinstate The Fianna, an ancient band of warriors, is implemented, and members of the Aos Sí must compete for the right to lead their army. The stakes rise as they confront old prejudices, uncover hidden truths, and rekindle relationships—all while facing formidable enemies determined to extinguish their light. In a realm where love and loyalty are put to the ultimate test, the battle for survival becomes not just a fight against external foes, but a quest for acceptance and self-identity. The monsters are coming. Will the Aos Sí find the strength to confront their past and reshape their future, or will they be consumed by the chaos that threatens to unravel their world?

M.A. Kilpatrick is an indie author with a completed fantasy romance trilogy. Her work combines urban and high fantasy set in Kansas City, Ireland, and the Fae realm. There are Irish elemental Fae and hilarious animal familiars, including a smartass phoenix with no filter. Actual monsters and dragon-shifting gods round things out nicely. In addition to writing and all that's involved with that, she also enjoys creating mixed-media artwork. She lives in the Kansas City area with her two dogs, Annie and Oscar.
