Hunter (Paperback)

James has always understood one thing better than anyone else: Silence.

As a child, silence was his refuge from an abusive home. As a young man, it became an obsession. Order. Control. Precision. Every object in its place. Every thought carefully catalogued. Every emotion locked away where it couldn't do any harm.

To the outside world, James is the perfect citizen. A devoted husband. A trusted school aide. A quiet man who would never hurt a soul. But beneath that carefully constructed life lies a darkness that has been growing for decades.

As old memories begin to surface and the routines that have kept him in control start to fracture, James finds himself trapped in a terrifying battle between the man he desperately wants to be... and the monster he has spent a lifetime becoming.

Told through haunting journal entries and a chilling descent into one fractured mind, Hunter: the story of J.F.S, is an unforgettable psychological thriller about trauma, obsession, and the terrifying truth that monsters aren't born, they're built, one quiet moment at a time.

Matthew has been writing since a young child. He has written screenplays and even made a short film that was shown at the Lisbon Film Festival and at the pinewood short film festival. But his passion was writing books.
