Includes Meet of the Cheshires at Saighton Grange, Dec 6th 1883 - the residence of Lord Grosvenor; sketches of falls and 'bolters'; Meet at Aldersey, Dec 20th 1883; Meet of Sir W.W. Wynn's at Carden, Dec 29th 1883; Meet at Tattenhall Jan 4th, 1884; Meet at Acton, Jan 9th 1884; Meet at Whitchurch, Feb 3rd 1884; Meet at Cholmondeley Jan 11th, 1884 including sketches of the artist's cousins - the Nimrod family in action. Each sketch accompanied by short pieces of text. Sketches and pages of text very clean. Florally decorated eps. Hinges cracked. Binding of few pages of text loosening. Original brown hard paper boards with red decorated lettering on boards. Lettering decorated with small sketches of horses, hounds, saddle and whip. Red cloth spine. Edges red. Small patch rubbed at corner of front board at top of spine. Corners rubbed and edges of boards rubbed in places. Some browning on boards. Overall condition VG. Scarce. Seller Inventory # 4887
