Souvenir program for the company's 1936-37 American tour. It was led by Colonel W. de Basil, who had acquired the rights to the Ballets Russes name after the original company's dissolution in 1929. W. de Basil's Ballets russes" by Edwin Evans; Cover wrappers illustrated by Nathalie Gontcharoval. Also includes color illustrations for scenery by E. Lourie for "Choreartium", Scenery for "Sheherazade" by Leon Bakst and "Les Femmes de Bonne Humeur" (The Good-Humoured Ladies"), Scenery and Costumes by Jean Hugo for "Les Cent Baisers ("A Hundred Kisses"), Scenery and costumes by Nathalie Gontcharova for "Noces", "L'oiseau de feu" ("The fire bird") and "Contes de Fee", Curtain by Andre Derain for La Concurrence", Scenery and costumes by M.
